Mavericks

Mavericks is a surf competition in Northern California, just south of San Francisco near Half Moon Bay. This is the epic surf event of the year. Huge waves are brought on by the heavy rain and storms that hit the Pacific Coast during the winter season. Surfers get 24 hours notice to make or break it. This year's event took place January 12th.
