Here is all the information you'll need to know.

The rail jam is comming up! Only 2 weeks away. wax your board and get your snowboard stuff out of the attic!

****** Over $1,000!!! in cash will be awarded for top riders in both male AND female riders category!******

***for any riders or skiers under the age of 18 a parent or guardian is needed to sign the waiver for you if you want to ride.

Also I'd like to ask anyone under the age of 18 to also bring a helmet! safety first- no one wants to ruin their season before it even starts!

Event will run !!rain or shine!! Oct 11th. Registration 11-1 with the event starting promptly at noon. Event is taking place on the challenger trail next to the mid mountain Quad. There will be PLENTY of snow thanks to help from Wachusett and cooperation with local ice arenas.

Event will run as follows-

11-1 registration
12- event starts
12- heat 1 will drop-in ( whoever is signed up on the first half of the list)
1-1:15- heat one ends- course maintenance and fresh snow brought in
1:15- 2:15 heat 2 drop-in

3pm- Awards will take place on the deck of Mountainside ski shop.

After the event ide also like to invite anyone to a big after-jam skate session at Fitchburg skatepark down the road. You can get directions here-

The Altamont team has put together a short tour video called "The Foreigners", filmed in Paris by Randy Randall.

Video Premier Tonight!

Just a confirmation post - the "Technicolour" video by Autumn Line Productions is tonight at 8pm. We are also going to showcase another local video "Shot," by Buck 90 Productions, before "Technicolour." Both videos will be shown behind our building. If it rains, we will move the premier action inside.

Scion is bringing down a vehicle equipped with a movie projector and booming sound system. Plus, we've got a new movie screen that will make your viewing experience worthwhile.

Technicolour premier this friday!!!!

So we pulled some strings and we are getting an advanced copy of Autumn Line's new Video "Technicolour" and we will be premiering it on Friday September 12 along with the EB Team Video! Thats two videos for the price of free. If you missed Autumn Lines video last year you missed one of the most underrated videos of 08' and my personal favorite. Van Wastell R.I.P.

Skateboarder Van Wastell died on September 5th after falling from a hotel window in Berlin, Germany. The 24-year-old skateboarder sponsored by Krooked, Vans, Independent, Spitfire, Matix and IG Boardshop, was just days away from turning pro. According to reports Wastell was traveling with the Vans team. Details are sketchy.

Matix Tour @ EB Leominster 9/18

The tour stops at Leominster Thursday 9/18 for a signing at 3pm. Everyone will leave EB around 4:30 and go to the Acton park for a demo around 5pm. MJ, Mike Mo, & Biebel will be there!!!

Ok so for those of you who have not heard the "Dudeguy" films premier has been postponed until they can get some copies to sell. BUTT fear not shredders your buddies here at Eastern Boarder have come through with another video to premier...So Friday Sept. 12th we will be showing the world premier of the new EB team video! It's going to be sick. Still out back around 8ish o'clock. We have a pretty sweet idea for a screen so hopefully it will work out.

In other premier news Rome Snowboards is premiering their sophomore video release "No Correct Way" Sunday Sept. 14th. Check out the flier for more details. In support of the video, pro shreds Marie France Roy and LNP (he's actually am but should be pro) are going to be around the shop Sunday before the premier in Boston at some point possibly signing some stuff so if you want your picture taken with the best female snowboarder alive or if you want LNP to sign your blouse come on down.
