"Our second annual Game of S.K.A.T.E. went down in the parking lot of Circuit City this past Sunday. Everybody was warming up on the boxes and flatground and were pumped to be there. Some were there to try to be crowned champ, some to snag some free food, and some to check out the new "Baker Has A Deathwish: Summer Tour" and then... It began to rain!!!!!! Aaaahhhhh!!!! I thought this would dampen the spirits of everyone. Some went to the shop and a selected few stayed in the rain under the tent. Even though the official games of skate didn't go down, there were some unofficial games going down in the shop.
For prizes we were handing out Powell Game of S.K.A.T.E. Dice and some other goodies. Around 4:45 p.m. we premiered the video. And let me tell you, that was one crazy ass skate video. I heard we are selling this in the shop for only $9.99, it's like buying paper plates and getting the cake for free (or its like buying plastic cups and getting the keg for free)."
